Atlanta Police Department Responds To Active Shooter Situation
On Tuesday, January 31, 2023, at approximately 1:45 p.m. EST, the Atlanta Police Department (APD) responded to reports of shots fired at the Four Seasons Hotel Atlanta building located at 75 14th Street Northeast in Midtown.
According to APD, officers arrived on the scene and encountered an active shooter situation. The suspect, identified as 29-year-old Kemare Bryan, was armed with a handgun and had fired multiple shots inside the hotel.
Suspect Apprehended, No Injuries Reported
APD officers quickly apprehended the suspect without incident. No injuries were reported during the incident, and the hotel was evacuated as a precaution.
