Russian tennis player Andrey Rublev failed to reach the 1/8 finals of the ATP tournament in Paris. In the second round, he lost to American Maxime Cressy in two sets with a score of 6:4, 6:4.
In the first set, Rublev managed to impose a fight on his opponent, but Cressy was more accurate in important moments. In the second set, the American took control of the game and did not give Rublev a chance to win back. This is Rublev's second defeat in the second round of the ATP tournament in a row.
Earlier, Rublev lost to American Tommy Paul in the second round of the tournament in Vienna.
Rublev is currently ranked 8th in the ATP rankings. He has won 11 ATP tournaments in his career, including the Masters in Cincinnati in 2022.
