Michigan State basketball releases official 2024-25 team picture

Spartans ready for another season of success

The Michigan State basketball team released its official team picture for the 2024-25 season on Monday. The picture features the team's 15 players, as well as head coach Tom Izzo.

The Spartans are coming off a disappointing season in which they finished 17-14 overall and 9-11 in the Big Ten. However, they are hoping to bounce back in 2024-25 with a talented roster that includes several key returning players.

Among the returning players are senior guard Tyson Walker, junior forward Joey Hauser, and sophomore forward Jaxon Kohler. Walker is the team's leading scorer and assist man, while Hauser is a versatile forward who can score inside and out. Kohler is a promising young player who is expected to take on a bigger role this season.

The Spartans also have a number of promising newcomers, including freshman guard Jaden Akins and freshman forward Pierre Brooks II. Akins is a highly touted recruit who is expected to make an immediate impact, while Brooks is a long and athletic forward who has the potential to be a star.

With a talented roster and an experienced coach, the Spartans are hoping to make a run at the NCAA Tournament in 2024-25. They open the season on November 7th against Northern Arizona.
