Los Angeles Kings hope to continue strong start against Pacific Division rival
Sharks look to rebound from opening night loss at home
The San Jose Sharks will look to rebound from an opening night loss when they host the Los Angeles Kings on Saturday night. The Kings, meanwhile, are coming off a 4-2 win over the Vegas Golden Knights in their season opener.
The Sharks were defeated by the Nashville Predators 4-1 in their season opener on Thursday night. Timo Meier scored the lone goal for San Jose, while Erik Karlsson and Tomas Hertl each had an assist.
The Kings, meanwhile, got goals from four different players in their win over the Golden Knights. Adrian Kempe, Phillip Danault, Alex Iafallo, and Viktor Arvidsson all found the back of the net for Los Angeles.
The Kings have won three of their last four games against the Sharks, including a 4-1 victory in their last meeting on March 29, 2022.
