The 28-year-old striker joined Kazan from Severstal Cherepovets during the off-season and has impressed in pre-season, scoring 13 goals in 21 games.
Zhulin is a product of the Ak Bars youth system and spent the first six seasons of his career with the Kazan club, making over 200 appearances. He then moved to Severstal in 2018 and has since scored over 100 goals in the KHL.
