The Dodgers had a chance to clinch the World Series in Game 4, but the Yankees had other plans. The Yankees got on the board first with a run in the second inning on a single by Anthony Rizzo.
Giancarlo Stanton hit a two-run homer in the third inning to give the Yankees a 3-0 lead.
The Dodgers got a run back in the fourth inning on a groundout by Will Smith, but the Yankees answered right back with a run in the fifth inning on a sacrifice fly by Aaron Judge.
The Dodgers added a run in the ninth inning on a home run by Mookie Betts, but it was too little too late. The Yankees held on for the 4-2 victory and forced a Game 5 on Sunday night.
