Will Hardy After Jazz's Blowout Loss vs. Warriors: 'That Wasn't Pretty'
Jazz Coach Admits Team's Poor Performance in Loss to Warriors
Utah Jazz head coach Will Hardy expressed his disappointment after the team's blowout loss to the Golden State Warriors on Friday night. The Jazz fell 129-96, their worst defeat of the season.
"That wasn't pretty," Hardy said after the game. "We didn't play with the energy and intensity that we needed to against a great team like the Warriors."
Jazz Struggle to Keep Pace with Warriors' Offense
The Jazz had difficulty containing the Warriors' high-powered offense, which was led by Stephen Curry's 24 points. The Warriors shot 54.2% from the field and 40% from three-point range.
"They're a great offensive team," Hardy said. "They move the ball well and they have a lot of weapons. We didn't do a good enough job of contesting their shots."
Jazz Turnovers Prove Costly
The Jazz also struggled with turnovers, committing 18 in the game. The Warriors capitalized on these mistakes, scoring 23 points off turnovers.
"Our turnovers killed us tonight," Hardy said. "We gave them too many easy opportunities."
Hardy Vows to Make Adjustments
Despite the disappointing loss, Hardy said he is confident that the Jazz can bounce back. He plans to make some adjustments to the team's defensive strategy and offensive execution.
"We're going to watch film and make some adjustments," Hardy said. "We're going to come back stronger next game."
