The new film, which is currently in development at Miramax and Paramount Pictures, will see the return of Marlon Wayans, Shawn Wayans, and Keenan Ivory Wayans.
The original 'Scary Movie' was released in 2000 and was a huge commercial success, grossing over $278 million worldwide. The film parodied a number of popular horror films, including 'Scream', 'I Know What You Did Last Summer', and 'The Sixth Sense'.
