Trendon Watford Injury: Trail Blazers Forward To Miss Game vs. Nuggets
Watford Suffered a Right Adductor Strain Against The Lakers
Portland Trail Blazers forward Trendon Watford will miss Friday's game against the Denver Nuggets due to a right adductor strain, the team announced.Watford suffered the injury in the third quarter of Wednesday's 128-109 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers. He left the game and did not return.

Watford's Absence Is A Blow To Blazers' Frontcourt
Watford's injury is a blow to the Blazers' already thin frontcourt. Jusuf Nurkic is out indefinitely with a plantar fascia injury, and Drew Eubanks is dealing with a sprained ankle.
With Watford out, the Blazers will likely start Jerami Grant at power forward and Nassir Little at small forward. Greg Brown III and Jabari Walker could also see increased minutes.
