The show, which will take place at the Wiltern Theater, will benefit the Silverlake Conservatory of Music, a non-profit organization that provides music education to underprivileged children.
Legendary Drummers Unite for a Good Cause
Alexander, Carey, and Chamberlin are all considered to be among the greatest drummers of all time. Alexander is best known for his work with Primus, a pioneering funk-metal band. Carey is the drummer for Tool, one of the most successful and critically acclaimed rock bands of the past two decades. Chamberlin is the drummer for the Smashing Pumpkins, one of the most influential alternative rock bands of the 1990s.
The benefit concert will be a rare opportunity to see these three legendary drummers perform together on the same stage. The show will feature a mix of classic songs from each drummer's repertoire, as well as some new material. All proceeds from the concert will go to the Silverlake Conservatory of Music.
