Selena Gomez, David Henrie Return to 'Waverly Place'

Stars appeared on 'Good Morning America' to discuss Disney+ reunion special

Selena Gomez and David Henrie appeared on 'Good Morning America' on August 12 to discuss their upcoming Disney+ reunion special, 'The Wizards Return: Alex vs. Alex.' The special reunites the cast of the popular Disney Channel show 'Wizards of Waverly Place' for the first time in over 10 years.

Gomez and Henrie spoke about what it was like to return to the set of 'Wizards of Waverly Place' for the first time in so many years. "It did feel like going home," Gomez said. "It was so great to see everyone again and to be back on that set."

Henrie agreed, saying, "It was like no time had passed at all. We all just fell back into our old roles and started joking around like we used to. It was so much fun."

The 'Wizards Return: Alex vs. Alex' special will premiere on Disney+ on August 26. The special will feature the return of several other cast members from the original series, including Jake T. Austin, Jennifer Stone, and Maria Canals-Barrera.
