Putin urges to prevent "for a penny" sale of certificates for tax deduction
The President instructed to strengthen control over the issuance of certificates for tax deductions to Russians who spend money on treatment and training.
Vladimir Putin instructed to strengthen control over the issuance of certificates for tax deductions to Russians who spend money on treatment and training. This was reported by the press service of the Kremlin following a meeting with government members.
The President drew attention to the fact that some unscrupulous organizations offer Russians to buy certificates for tax deductions for a small fee. At the same time, in fact, the citizens did not receive any services. The attackers simply forge documents and appropriate budget funds.
Putin stressed that such a practice is unacceptable and instructed to strengthen control over the issuance of certificates. He also proposed introducing criminal liability for the sale of fake documents.
The President's initiative was supported by the head of the Federal Tax Service, Daniil Yegorov. He noted that the tax authorities are already working to counter the sale of fake certificates. However, the introduction of criminal liability will significantly increase the effectiveness of this work.
The Ministry of Finance also supported the President's proposal. The head of the department, Anton Siluanov, said that the ministry is ready to develop amendments to the legislation.
Experts believe that the introduction of criminal liability for the sale of fake certificates will help to reduce the number of such crimes. In addition, it will increase the responsibility of organizations issuing certificates.
The sale of fake certificates for tax deductions is a serious problem that deprives the budget of significant funds. The introduction of criminal liability for this type of crime will help to solve this problem.
