The Senators are coming off a 3-2 overtime loss to the Buffalo Sabres on Saturday night. Brady Tkachuk scored twice for Ottawa, while Tim Stuetzle added two assists. Anton Forsberg made 31 saves in the loss.
The Devils are coming off a 4-3 overtime win over the Columbus Blue Jackets on Saturday night. Ondrej Palat scored the overtime winner for New Jersey, while Jack Hughes had a goal and an assist. Akira Schmid made 28 saves in the win.
The Senators and Devils have split their two meetings so far this season, with each team winning on home ice.
