## Nuggets Wrap Up First Back-to-Back Versus Nets Denver - Nikola Jokic had 26 points, 18 rebounds and 10 assists, his fifth triple-double of the season, leading the Denver Nuggets to a 124-104 victory over the Brooklyn Nets on Saturday night for their first consecutive win. Jokic, last year’s NBA MVP, put up dominant performances in back-to-back wins over one of the NBA’s top teams. With the Nets’ Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving both out due to injury, Jokic led the Nuggets to victories by 32 and 20 points. DeAndre Jordan added 16 points and 16 rebounds for Denver, while Jamal Murray scored 19 points. Joe Harris led the Nets with 24 points. The Nuggets (24-13) have now won eight of their last 10 games. The Nets (21-15) have dropped two straight. Denver led by just three points at halftime, but they stretched the lead throughout the second half. Jokic had 14 points and 10 rebounds in the third quarter alone. While the Nets cut the deficit to 93-86 early in the fourth, Jokic hit a jumper and followed that up with a pair of free throws. The Nuggets led by double digits the rest of the way. “We just wanted to keep the pressure on them,” Jokic said. “We didn’t want to let them get back in the game. We just wanted to keep our foot on the gas and keep playing hard.”
