The Nets are already without Kevin Durant (knee) and Ben Simmons (back), so Watford's absence will further deplete their frontcourt.
Nic Claxton is expected to start at center in Watford's absence, with Royce O'Neale and TJ Warren also seeing increased minutes at the forward positions.
The Nets are 2-5 in their last seven games and are currently seventh in the Eastern Conference standings.
They will be looking to get back on track against the Nuggets, who are 4-3 in their last seven games and are currently sixth in the Western Conference standings.
The game is scheduled to tip off at 7:30 p.m. ET at Barclays Center.
