Maggie MacNeil Wins Gold in Women's 100m Butterfly at Tokyo Olympics

Canadian swimmer Maggie MacNeil has won the gold medal in the women's 100m butterfly at the Tokyo Olympics.

MacNeil, 21, led from start to finish, finishing in a time of 55.59 seconds. She was followed by China's Zhang Yufei (55.64) and Australia's Emma McKeon (55.72).

MacNeil's victory is Canada's first gold medal in the women's 100m butterfly since 1976. It is also her first Olympic medal.
