The Cats are a five-point favorite over the Colonels in Las Vegas, according to DraftKings Sportsbook. Tonight's game marks the fifth NCAA Tournament game between Kentucky and Minnesota State Mankato. The Cats are 3-1 all time in the NCAA Tournament against MSU with the Colonels one win coming in the first round of the 2006 tournament.
Kentucky and Minnesota State Mankato have never met in the regular season and this is MSU's first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2015. The Colonels won the NCAA Division II National Championship in 2022 and lost in the semifinals a year ago.
Kentucky is coming off an 86-73 win over Saint Peters in the first round and the Colonels upset sixth-seeded LSU 82-72 in their opening game.
