Jazz’s Johnny Juzang: Suiting up Tuesday
Jazz Injury Update
After missing the past 11 games due to a right hip flexor strain, Utah Jazz guard Johnny Juzang will make his return to the court Tuesday night against the Minnesota Timberwolves, coach Will Hardy said.
The Jazz have gone 4-7 in Juzang's absence, including a 139-118 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday night.
Juzang was averaging 10.7 points, 4.3 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game before getting injured in a loss to the Phoenix Suns on Jan. 10.
Juzang’s Role with the Jazz
Juzang is expected to start at shooting guard Tuesday night, alongside Collin Sexton, Lauri Markkanen, Jarred Vanderbilt and Kelly Olynyk.
The 23-year-old has been a key part of the Jazz's success this season, providing a scoring boost off the bench.
With Juzang back in the lineup, the Jazz will be hoping to get back on track after a tough stretch of games.
Jazz’s Playoff Push
The Jazz are currently 29-32, which is good for ninth place in the Western Conference.
Utah is just 2.5 games behind the Dallas Mavericks for the sixth seed, which would give them home-court advantage in the first round of the playoffs.
With Juzang back in the lineup, the Jazz will be hoping to make a push for a playoff spot.
