Inter Milan Boss Set To Make Three Changes To His Starting XI Vs Empoli – Germany Defender, Albania Midfielder & Iran Megastar In
Simone Inzaghi is preparing to make three changes to his Inter Milan starting XI for their Serie A clash with Empoli on Monday night.
The Nerazzurri boss is expected to recall Germany defender Robin Gosens, Albania midfielder Kristjan Asllani and Iran forward Mehdi Taremi to the team that started the 1-0 win over Udinese last weekend.
Gosens has recovered from a muscular problem that kept him out of the Udinese game, while Asllani and Taremi were both rested for that match.
The trio are likely to come into the team at the expense of Federico Dimarco, Hakan Calhanoglu and Edin Dzeko.
Dimarco has been in fine form for Inter this season, but he is expected to make way for Gosens, who is a more natural left-back.
Calhanoglu is also likely to drop out of the team, with Asllani set to take his place in central midfield.
Taremi is expected to replace Dzeko up front, with the Iranian forward having scored four goals in his last five Serie A appearances.
Inter will be looking to maintain their 100% start to the Serie A season when they face Empoli on Monday night.
The Nerazzurri have won their opening two games of the campaign and will be confident of extending that run against an Empoli side that has lost both of their matches so far.
Here is Inter Milan's predicted starting XI for the match against Empoli:
Goalkeeper: Samir Handanovic Defenders: Robin Gosens, Milan Skriniar, Stefan de Vrij, Denzel Dumfries Midfielders: Nicolo Barella, Kristjan Asllani, Marcelo Brozovic Forwards: Joaquin Correa, Lautaro Martinez, Mehdi Taremi
