C's Curry, Pels' Ingram to star in NBA League Pass' new courtside broadcast

The NBA's experimental, courtside-focused "The Rail" broadcast is getting two new stars in the Golden State Warriors' Stephen Curry and the New Orleans Pelicans' Brandon Ingram.

The Rail, which debuted during last year's regular season and playoffs, features a two-person broadcast team positioned courtside, providing fans with a unique perspective and analysis of the game.

For the 2023-24 season, Curry and Ingram will join the Rail team, which will televise 12 exclusive games live on NBA League Pass.

Curry, a two-time NBA MVP and eight-time All-Star, is one of the most popular and recognizable players in the league. Ingram, a two-time All-Star, is one of the rising young stars in the NBA.

"I'm excited to be a part of The Rail," Curry said in a statement. "It's a great way to connect with fans and give them a new perspective on the game."

Ingram added, "I'm looking forward to bringing my own unique perspective to The Rail. I think fans will enjoy hearing from two players who are in the trenches every night."

The Rail broadcasts will feature a variety of special features, including interviews with players and coaches, behind-the-scenes footage, and analysis from the broadcast team.

"The Rail is a game-changer," NBA Commissioner Adam Silver said in a statement. "It gives fans a truly immersive experience that brings them closer to the action than ever before."

The Rail broadcasts will be available on NBA League Pass, the NBA's subscription-based streaming service. NBA League Pass offers fans access to every live NBA game, as well as a variety of original programming.

The 2023-24 NBA season begins on October 18th.
