Despite Triumph with Iman Shumpert, Karagach Faced Major Setback with Howard
Daniella Karagach emerged victorious from the 30th season of Dancing with the Stars, partnering with NBA star Iman Shumpert. However, her journey to the championship was not without challenges, as she previously had to overcome a major setback while paired with former NBA center Dwight Howard.
During week 5 of the competition, Howard tested positive for COVID-19, forcing him to withdraw from the competition. This left Karagach with just 24 hours to find a new partner before their scheduled performance.
Karagach and Shumpert Triumph Over Obstacles
Despite the last-minute change, Karagach and Shumpert managed to put together an impressive performance, earning high scores from the judges.
Their chemistry and dedication proved unstoppable as they went on to win the competition, becoming the first same-sex pairing to take home the Mirrorball Trophy.
