Depleted Dortmund prepare for Pokal trip to Wolfsburg
Favre deprived of host of players
Borussia Dortmund head coach Lucien Favre has a host of injury concerns to contend with ahead of Tuesday's DFB Pokal trip to Wolfsburg.
The Swiss boss is without first-choice goalkeeper Roman Burki (knock), the suspended Mats Hummels and long-term absentee Dan-Axel Zagadou, while Achraf Hakimi (toe), Thomas Delaney (knee) and Julian Weigl are all major doubts.
Dortmund will also be without Jadon Sancho after the England international was handed a one-match DFB ban following his red card against Borussia Monchengladbach on Friday.
Can Dortmund overcome the odds?
Despite their injury woes, Dortmund will be confident of progressing to the quarter-finals, having won their last four matches in all competitions.
Wolfsburg, meanwhile, have lost four of their last five games and are currently languishing in 13th place in the Bundesliga.
Favre will be hoping that his team can continue their good form and book their place in the last eight of the DFB Pokal.
