De'Anthony Melton to be Re-evaluated on Friday after suffering Left Adductor Strain

Memphis Grizzlies guard De'Anthony Melton is expected to be re-evaluated on Friday after suffering a left adductor strain in Wednesday's loss to the New Orleans Pelicans.

Melton left the game in the third quarter after he was injured while driving to the basket. He did not return to the game and was seen limping noticeably after the game.

The Grizzlies announced on Thursday that Melton had undergone an MRI, which revealed a left adductor strain. The team said that Melton is expected to be re-evaluated on Friday.

Melton has been a key contributor for the Grizzlies this season, averaging 10.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game. He is also one of the team's best perimeter defenders.

The Grizzlies are currently in fourth place in the Western Conference with a record of 28-23. They are scheduled to host the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday night.

In addition to Melton, the Grizzlies are also expected to be without Dillon Brooks, who is out with a left ankle sprain.
