The Zellners, the team behind 'The Spectacular Now', have tapped Dave Bautista, Zoë Kravitz, and Riley Keough to star in "Alpha Gang", their fact-based movie about a women-led outlaw gang in the Old West.
The Zellners' latest picture is based on a genuine story and centers on a group of women who form a gang in post-Civil War America. The movie will follow the group as they fight for survival and justice in a harsh and unforgiving world.
Bautista will play the role of Rufus Buck, a former slave who joins the gang. Kravitz will play the role of Agnes, a young woman who is seeking revenge for the murder of her family. Keough will play the role of Mary, a prostitute who joins the gang in search of a new life.
