TLC has suspended filming of 90 Day Fiancé after star Geoffrey Paschel was arrested
On June 9, 2022, 90 Day Fiancé star Geoffrey Paschel was arrested and charged with domestic violence and assault.
According to court documents, Paschel allegedly assaulted his then-girlfriend, Kristen Wilson, at his home in Knoxville, Tennessee, on June 9, 2022.
The alleged incident occurred shortly after Wilson had broken up with Paschel,
Wilson told police that Paschel began throwing things at her, including a cell phone and a TV remote.
She also said that Paschel grabbed her by the neck and slammed her head into the wall several times.
Wilson was able to escape and call the police.
Paschel was arrested and charged with domestic violence and assault. He was released on bond and is scheduled to appear in court on July 6, 2022.
TLC has announced that it has suspended filming of 90 Day Fiancé.
The network said in a statement that it is "aware of the charges against Geoffrey Paschel and takes matters of domestic violence very seriously."
TLC said that it is "conducting its own internal review of the situation and will make a decision on whether to continue filming with Geoffrey Paschel once that review is complete."
Paschel has denied the allegations.
In a statement to TMZ, Paschel said that he "did not assault or harm" Wilson.
Paschel said that he is "confident that the truth will come out and that I will be vindicated."
